Why I Suck at Video Production

I was thinking the other day about the short video clips I’ve posted so far…

I thought to myself. If its tame enough for YouTube, then why would anyone watch wrestling videos I shoot?

My videos are not anything like my stories. They are tame in comparison. I should probably shoot like I write.

Thoughts?

Meanwhile, have an 80’s inspired wresting photo or two!

For me, I'd say I agree - if it is tame enough for youtube... meh. The problem would probably be that in order to make stuff that is better than that, the production cost probably skyrockets. Among other things. Heck, finding decent enough actresses would be a huge challenge. And on a side note, I love the third photo. I think it's the look on both their faces that does it for me there.

Why not do photos for your stories instead of art? You're obviously a very talented photographer...

In answer to your Twitter question, GLOW actually is what got me hooked on female combat. It started as wrestling, then evolved from there. I'd love to see an adult version of GLOW, but I'd doubt you'd be able to find the proper resources to get it started. I also have to agree, the third pic is darn good.

TY! I love photography. Its not cheap to do though. :( Art is cheaper, but also slower.

Actually, if I did do more photos and stories to go with them ...would you all like that? Or do you prefer the art for stories?

I am more of an art fan for a stories than pictures. With the art i suppose it is easier to convey what message you are trying to get across to the reader

I really like being able to talk to my visitors, finally. The old site never had comments!

I think I would prefer the videos if they were all one file instead of cut up into short parts. As for the stories, photos or art are good. I'd love to see photosets actually. If the photos could cover the beginning middle and end (with victory pose) of the story, that would be perfect.

I disagree regarding the notion that you suck at production. The videos weren't bad in terms of production. You just need to make it less plain and add a story to it. Whether or not it's tame for Youtube doesn't matter to the viewers because it's already got the goods (two beautiful girls fighting in costume). Instead, go for more flair. The filler stuff like rolling around or pulling hair is merely intended to build up towards a crotch kick, a stick your leg out and flip opponent over, wedgies, boob grabs, the flashier movies, etc. So think of it like this: /////Filler->Flashy move->filler-filler-filler->Flashy move->Finisher.////// What I call the "F-F-F" rules for F/F. It works for storytelling, too. Again, it doesn't need to be crazy rated XXX to attract attention. /////Look at these commercials: //////https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoB6jeaGvQ4////////// //////https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G78jrFOgdCc///////// /////https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TW3WWCXDT_0//////// /////https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uqrr0m0Vd0//////// They've hundreds of thousands of views to millions just on the basis of being "Youtube safe" fighting. So, just go for more unique angles. Play around with the actresses. Borrow moves from your favorite movie fight scenes. Have fun with it. Writing with a camera is different than writing with a pen but they are similar in terms of fundamentals.

Those are great! That's a great idea. I would love to shoot like this. Youtube safe but still sexy and with story...

Yeah, if you ever need ideas, I can give you a bunch of them. Or perhaps a script? Anyway, I'd like to think that in a secret/second life of mine, catfight videos are my forte. Hire models or actresses and have them duke it out.

Do you have a video of these two fighting? I would love to see it if you do.

Yes, but not in 80s style. Would you like to see 80s?

Yes I would. I would like to see any videos of these two fighting. But eighties would be the best.

So for 80's fans...should we use shiny tights or no?
